DIAGNÓSTICO Y PRONÓSTICO DEL ESTADO DEL MAR</b><o:p></o:p></p>
<p>La Dirección de Hidrografía y Navegación de la Marina de Guerra del Perú,
informa a la opinión pública lo siguiente:<br>
<br>
1. Entre el martes 31 de marzo y 01 de abril se han presentado en zonas
costeras del litoral sur y centro oleajes anómalos con características de
ligera a moderada intensidad proveniente del Pacífico Sur, el cual fue
informado por esta Institución en el Aviso Especial Nro 10 del 27 de Marzo 2009.<br>
<br>
2. Actualmente el estado del mar en el litoral, en general presenta
condiciones normales; sin embargo, las condiciones atmosféricas en el océano
Pacifico Sur Oriental continúan manifestando el desarrollo de perturbaciones y
generando persistentes oleajes anómalos, que se aproximarían a nuestro dominio
marítimo en los próximos días.<br>
<br>
3. Se estima que estos nuevos oleajes anómalos se inicien por el litoral
sur aproximándose a zonas costeras con características de ligera intensidad, en
la madrugada del lunes 06 de abril y se extendería hacia el litoral central en
horas de la mañana del mismo día. En el litoral sur es probable que el oleaje
anómalo presente características intermitentes de moderada intensidad durante
la tarde del día lunes 06 de abril. <br>
<br>
4. En el litoral central, se prevé el restablecimiento de las condiciones
normales en la tarde del martes 07; mientras que en el litoral sur en la
madrugada del miércoles 08 de abril.<br>
<br>
5. Estos oleajes afectarían principalmente las áreas abiertas o
semi-abiertas cuyo ingreso está orientado hacia el Sur-oeste.<br>
<br>
6. Se recomienda adoptar medidas preventivas para las actividades
portuarias, pesca, deportivas y de recreo.<br>
<br>
7. Esta Dirección continuará evaluando el estado del mar en función al
comportamiento de los sistemas atmosféricos y oceánicos.<br>
