actual coyuntura mundial ha afectado el intercambio comercial de la mayoría
de los países; del cual, el Perú no ha estado exento. Así el valor de las
exportaciones totales acumuladas a febrero del presente año éstas han
disminuido en 37% con respecto a similar periodo del año 2008; sin
embargo, se observa que el sector pesquero registra una menor caída ( 21%), explicada
principalmente por la disminución de productos de consumo humano indirecto
que cayeron en 23%; mientras que los productos congelados, en conservas,
curados y frescos que suman el total del consumo humano directo disminuyeron
un 16%. Al respecto, cabe destacar el mayor consumo de anchoveta congelada
por parte de España (151%), Francia (350%) y Corea del Sur (74%) así como de
conserva de anchoveta por parte de Colombia (70%), Panamá (500%),
Uruguay(46%) y Bolivia(87%). Asimismo, otros importantes mercados que han
crecido son las caballas congeladas a España, los langostinos congelados
enteros a Estados Unidos, las conservas de anchoveta a Colombia, Panamá,
Uruguay, República Dominicana y Bolivia.<br>

Se espera que la presente situación se vaya recuperando a medida que se
acerque el primer semestre del año. En ese sentido, esperamos que el presente
boletín sirva de utilidad y estamos abiertos a cualquier sugerencia o
recomendación para lanzar en la próxima edición un boletín nuevo con mayor
información y una presentación mucho más dinámica que pueda ser aun más útil
al distinguido lector.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
