DIAGNÓSTICO Y PRONÓSTICO DEL ESTADO DEL MAR</b><o:p></o:p></p>
<p>La Dirección de Hidrografía y Navegación de la Marina de Guerra del Perú,
informa a la opinión pública lo siguiente:<br>
<br>
1. Actualmente el estado del mar en el litoral en general presenta
condiciones normales; sin embargo, las condiciones atmosféricas en el océano
Pacifico Sur Oriental están manifestando el desarrollo de perturbaciones y
generando persistentes oleajes anómalos, que se aproximarían a nuestro dominio
marítimo en los próximos días.<br>
<br>
2. Se prevé que estos oleajes anómalos se inicien por el litoral sur,
aproximándose a zonas costeras con características de ligera intensidad en la
madrugada del martes 05 de mayo, aumentaría a moderada intensidad en la tarde
del mismo día, y en algunas zonas presentaría oleajes intermitentes con
características de fuerte intensidad durante el miércoles 06.<br>
<br>
3. El oleaje anómalo se extendería hacia el litoral central en la tarde
del martes 05 y aumentaría a moderada intensidad en la madrugada del miércoles
06 de mayo; mientras que, en el litoral norte el oleaje anómalo de ligera
intensidad se iniciaría en la tarde del miércoles 06, siendo probable que en
algunas zonas presenten oleajes intermitentes de moderada intensidad durante el
jueves 07 y viernes 08 de mayo.<br>
<br>
4. Se prevé que en la tarde del día viernes 08 de mayo, el oleaje anómalo
disminuya gradualmente, estimándose el restablecimiento de las condiciones
normales en todo el litoral en la tarde del sábado 09 de mayo.<br>
<br>
5. Estos oleajes afectarían principalmente las áreas abiertas o
semi-abiertas cuyo ingreso está orientado hacia el Sur-oeste.<br>
<br>
6. Se recomienda adoptar medidas preventivas para las actividades
portuarias, pesca, deportivas y de recreo.<br>
<br>
7. Esta Dirección continuará evaluando el estado del mar en función al
comportamiento de los sistemas atmosféricos y oceánicos.<br>
