<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: inter-ideograph; MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; TEXT-INDENT: 35.4pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN lang=ES-TRAD style="mso-ansi-language: ES-TRAD"><FONT size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman">No sólo se esta invirtiendo en modernización y equipamiento de los desembarcaderos pesqueros artesanales (DAP) a través del Fondepes, sino desde el Produce se expiden normas para promover cada vez mas la incursión de medianos y grandes empresarios en la pesquería para el consumo humano directo (CHD), en conservas, congelados, utilizando las especies pelágicas como el jurel, la caballa, la sardina y sobre todo la abundante anchoveta.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></SPAN></DIV>

<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: inter-ideograph; MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; TEXT-INDENT: 35.4pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN lang=ES-TRAD style="mso-ansi-language: ES-TRAD"><FONT size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman">Ya están funcionando plantas de congelado y se está transportando pescado a <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:PersonName w:st="on" ProductID="la Sierra">la Sierra</st1:PersonName> e inclusive se viene abasteciendo zonas altoandinas.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Pero, además no se descuida el aspecto social del pescador artesanal. Así, recientemente, la ministra de <st1:PersonName w:st="on" ProductID="la Producci�n">la Producción</st1:PersonName>, Elena Conterno, acompañada por el viceministro de Pesquería, Alfonso Miranda Eizaguirre, entregaron 146 casas de madera a pescadores artesanales de Tacna, las cuales fueron financiadas por un mondo de 584 mil nuevos soles,
obtenidos de los aportes de <st1:PersonName w:st="on" ProductID="la Asociaci�n">la Asociación</st1:PersonName> de Productores de Harina de Pescado del Sur. <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>La titular del sector subrayó que esta financiación se hizo mediante el D.S. Nº 003-2008-PRODUCE, que crea el nuevo Fondo para <st1:PersonName w:st="on" ProductID="la Promoci�n">la Promoción</st1:PersonName> de <st1:PersonName w:st="on" ProductID="la Pesca Artesanal"><st1:PersonName w:st="on" ProductID="la Pesca">la Pesca</st1:PersonName> Artesanal</st1:PersonName> (Prosur), a partir del cual los asociados de Aprosur realizan una serie de contribuciones para participar en el régimen especial de extracción de anchoveta en el sur.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></SPAN></DIV>

<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: inter-ideograph; MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; TEXT-INDENT: 35.4pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN lang=ES-TRAD style="mso-ansi-language: ES-TRAD"><FONT size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman">Algo más respecto a la pesca para el CHD., sobre todo la pesca de altura, que se realiza más allá de las <st1:metricconverter w:st="on" ProductID="200 millas">200 millas</st1:metricconverter>, no se puede dejar de mencionar la preocupación del Gobierno Central por alcanzar mayor eficiencia y eficacia en la misma.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>En este contexto, cabe destacar el viaje que realizará el Viceministro de Pesquería Alfonso Miranda Eizaguirre, a la ciudad de <st1:PersonName w:st="on" ProductID="La Jolla">La Jolla</st1:PersonName>, California (Estados Unidos de América), para participar en la 80º Reunión Plenaria de <st1:PersonName w:st="on" ProductID="la Comisi�n Interamericana">la Comisión
Interamericana</st1:PersonName> del Atún Tropical (CIAT).<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></SPAN></DIV>

<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: inter-ideograph; MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; TEXT-INDENT: 35.4pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN lang=ES-TRAD style="mso-ansi-language: ES-TRAD"><FONT size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman">En anteriores reuniones de <st1:PersonName w:st="on" ProductID="la CIAT">la CIAT</st1:PersonName> se aprobó tanto la incorporación del Perú a esta comisión, como haber conseguido una capacidad de acarreo para el país, con la finalidad de que, en el corto y largo plazo, se permitirá construir una flota atunera peruana y, así también, la participación de científicos peruanos en los diferentes cruceros de evaluación de mamíferos marinos y la obtención de valiosa información para el desarrollo de la pesquería del atún en nuestro país.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></SPAN></DIV>

<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: inter-ideograph; MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; TEXT-INDENT: 35.4pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN lang=ES-TRAD style="mso-ansi-language: ES-TRAD"><FONT size=3><FONT face="Times New Roman">Asimismo, que en reuniones anteriores de <st1:PersonName w:st="on" ProductID="la CIAT">la CIAT</st1:PersonName>, la delegación peruana ha venido presentando una propuesta sustentada en aspectos técnicos, económicos y sociales con el objetivo de incrementar la capacidad de acarreo de <st1:metricconverter w:st="on" ProductID="3,195 m3">3,195 m3</st1:metricconverter> a 14,075 m3, lo cual permitirá la confirmación de una flota atunera peruana y, consecuentemente, el desarrollo de la pesquería del atún.<o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></SPAN></DIV>
