DIAGNÓSTICO Y PRONÓSTICO DEL ESTADO DEL MAR</b><o:p></o:p></p>
<p>La Dirección de Hidrografía y Navegación de la Marina de Guerra del Perú,
informa a la opinión pública lo siguiente:<br>
<br>
1. Desde el sábado 18 de julio a la fecha, se viene presentando en zonas
costeras del litoral, oleajes anómalos con características de ligera a moderada
intensidad proveniente del Pacífico Sur, el cual fue informado por esta
Institución en el Aviso Especial Nro. 32 del 15 de julio 2009.<br>
<br>
2. Las condiciones normales en el litoral norte se restablecerían en la
tarde del lunes 20 de julio; mientras que, en el litoral centro y sur se prevé
que el oleaje anómalo continúe manifestando características de ligera
intensidad.<br>
<br>
3. Sin embargo, debido a la variabilidad de los sistemas atmosféricos en
el océano Pacífico Sur Oriental, nuevos oleajes con características de ligera
intensidad se aproximarían a zonas costeras del litoral norte en las últimas
horas de la tarde del martes 21 y en todo el litoral el oleaje anómalo
aumentaría a moderada intensidad en la madrugada del jueves 23 de julio, no
descartándose que en algunas zonas de la costa presente oleajes intermitentes
de fuerte intensidad. Estos oleajes anómalos disminuirían gradualmente el
sábado 25, estimándose el restablecimiento de las condiciones normales en todo
el litoral en la madrugada del domingo 26 de julio. <br>
<br>
4. Estos oleajes están afectando principalmente las áreas abiertas o
semi-abiertas cuyo ingreso está orientado hacia el Sur-oeste y Oeste.<br>
<br>
5. Se recomienda continuar adoptando medidas preventivas para las
actividades portuarias, pesca, deportivas y de recreo.<br>
<br>
6. Esta Dirección continuará evaluando el estado del mar en función al
comportamiento de los sistemas atmosféricos y oceánicos.<br>
