trabajo desarrollado el pasado año 2009, en el que además de las tareas de
varamientos ha extendido su trabajo a otros campos relacionados con el mundo

y en el que con las correspondientes autorizaciones del Ministerio de Medio
Ambiente, Medio rural y Marino, además de la Consejería de Medio Ambiente y la
colaboración de la Consejería de Agricultura y Pesca de la Junta de Andalucía,
se ha podido atender 44 varamientos de especies marinas
protegidas.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></P>

atendidos, 8 han sido de tortugas marinas de la especie Caretta caretta y 36 de
cetáceos: 15 Delfín listado (Stenella coeruleoalba), 4 Delfín común (Delphinus
delphis), 2 Delfin mular (Tursiops truncatus), 6 Delfines sin identificar, 3
Calderón Común (<SPAN style="mso-bidi-font-style: italic">Globicephala melas), 2
Calderón gris (Grampus griseus), 2 Zifio de Cuvier (</SPAN>Ziiphius cavirostris)
y 2 Cachalote (<SPAN style="mso-bidi-font-style: italic">Physeter
macrocephalus). <o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></SPAN></P>

face="Times New Roman">De todos los varamientos atendidos, 2 de Delfín listado,
1 de Delfín común y 1 de Zifio de Cuvier fueron regresados al mar con vida, o el
varamiento no se llegó a producir tras disuadirles. Las horas posteriores en
controlar las zonas no dieron resultado de avistamento de los animales por lo
que se entiende siguieron sus rutas habituales.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></P>

face="Times New Roman">Entre las tortugas, de las 8 atendidas fueron 4 las que
vivieron, en casos relacionados con pesca y en el que los propios pescadores
fueron los autores que evitaron que murieran y que fuesen devueltas al

Acción y organizaciones de Marruecos en elaborar la primera base de datos de

que han participado distintas embarcaciones pesqueras, habiéndose dado los datos
de avistamientos de Calderón común, Delfín mular, Tiburón peregrino, Rorcual
común, etc, en distintos puntos de nuestra costa y otros como en la costa de
Tarragona.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></P>

pesquero sobre la importancia de adaptar artes de pesca que reduzcan las
capturas accidentales y aumenten la captura de especies comerciales, lo que ha
supuesto que redunde en una mayor colaboración del sector pesquero con
PROMAR.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></P>
