La Sra. Ximena Vivanco Tapia, Licenciada en Biología Marina e investigadora
IFOP del Departamento de Medio Ambiente de la División de Acuicultura de
Puerto Montt, se encuentra realizando un Curso Especial en Alemania
denominado “Taxonomía de Dinoflagelados Recientes”, en la ciudad
de List, Sylt, el que es dictado por el Dr. Malte Elbrächter, reconocido
experto en el área, del Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine
Research, Wadden Sea Station. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p><font size=2 face=Verdana><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Verdana'>Esta
profesional participa en el proyecto: “Manejo y monitoreo de las
mareas rojas en las regiones de Los Lagos, Aysén y Magallanes”
(Subpesca) y su asistencia permitirá la actualización de los conocimientos de
este grupo de dinoflagelados, pudiendo arrojar nueva información relevante
para la comprensión de la comunidad fitoplanctónica chilena y del
estudio de las floraciones algales nocivas en nuestro país.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

curso tiene una duración de 10 días y considera clases teóricas y trabajo
práctico con muestras aportadas por los propios participantes.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

resto de investigadores que están desarrollando este Curso provienen de
