próximo jueves 16 de diciembre se realizará en Puerto Montt (Hotel Gran
Pacífico), un seminario de lanzamiento del proyecto IFOP-INNOVACHILE
denominado "Desarrollo e implementación de un modelo de simulación
epidemiológico para la transmisión del virus de la anemias infecciosa del
salmón (<span class="SpellE">ISAv</span>) entre centros de cultivos de la zona
sur".</span></font></p><p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;"><br></span></font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;">El
objetivo de este seminario es presentar las características del proyecto y al
equipo profesional que lo desarrollará, además de entregar una visión de la
importancia de desarrollar modelos de simulación epidemiológica que permitan
comprender de mejor forma la dinámica de la diseminación de agentes
infecciosos en la acuicultura chilena.</span></font></p><p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;"><br></span></font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;">Este
estudio es liderado por IFOP, a través de su Departamento de Salud
Hidrobiológica, y <span class="SpellE">co</span>-ejecutado con la Universidad
Diego Portales y la empresa BIOVAC.</span></font></p><p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;"><br></span></font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;">La
iniciativa será presentada por el Director de Proyecto, y Medico Veterinario
Sr. Juan Carlos Quintanilla. Durante la jornada, también expondrán los
veterinarios especialistas en epidemiología, Sres. Tadaishi Yatabe y Fernando
Mardones por IFOP; Paulina Moreno y Víctor Valerio, de BIOVAC y Salmones
Friosur, como empresas asociadas al proyecto; más una visión de la
Subsecretaría de Pesca destacando la utilidad de este tipo de herramientas
como base para confeccionar la normativa nacional (Alejandro Barrientos);
para finalmente, cerrar con el Servicio Nacional de Pesca, que entregará la
situación actual del virus ISA en Chile.</span></font></p><p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;"><br></span></font></p>
