En todos <BR>los países se organizan festejos en esta fecha para que la sociedad tome <BR>conciencia sobre los derechos que les corresponden a todos los seres humanos <BR>por igual, a hombres y mujeres, más allá de las diferentes naciones, lenguas, <BR>religiones o culturas.<BR><BR>El 8 de marzo se conmemora la lucha de un grupo de mujeres que realizaron una <BR>huelga en la fábrica textil donde trabajaban en Nueva York, en 1857,
para pedir <BR>una jornada de 10 horas de trabajo e igualdad de salarios que los hombres. En <BR>respuesta a la planta ocupada, se prendió fuego al edificio y se trabaron las <BR>puertas, allí murieron las 129 trabajadoras. Este día, para honrar su memoria, <BR>fue propuesto en 1910 en un Congreso Internacional de Dinamarca, y las Naciones <BR>Unidas adhirieron su apoyo a la celebración en numerosos países.<BR><BR>Desde entonces se convocó a todas las naciones, que teniendo en cuenta sus <BR>tradiciones históricas, proclamen un día del año como Día de las Naciones <BR>Unidas para los Derechos de la Mujer y la Paz Internacional.<BR><BR>Un saludo muy especial para las hijas, madres, esposas, trabajadoras, <BR>profesionales y estudiantes Pesqueras y Acuicolas que ayudan con su aporte al <BR>desarrollo de esta tan maravilloza actividad como es la Acuicultura y al <BR>bienestar de la
