el 30 y 31 de marzo se realizó en Talcahuano, el curso “Técnicas de
Estudio en Peces Cartilaginosos”, a cargo del Laboratorio de
Elasmobranquios (ELASMOLAB), del Instituto de Zoología, de la Universidad
Austral de Chile.</span></font></p><p style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;"><br></span></font></p>

Curso incluyó actividades teóricas y prácticas, destinadas a conocer la
diversidad de tiburones, rayas y quimeras de Chile; así como para complementar
la información discutida en clase y profundizar en los caracteres diagnósticos
utilizados para el reconociendo de los peces cartilaginosos comunes en Chile. <br></span></font></p><p style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;"><br></span></font></p>

revisaron preparaciones de piel para observar los dentículos dérmicos, órganos
de la cavidad interna y énfasis en la morfología externa y los caracteres
sexuales secundarios, ya que facilitaran su posterior reconocimiento en

Curso se ejecuta en el marco del proyecto “Observadores
Científicos”, es de carácter interno, participando los coordinadores de
terreno y observadores científicos de IFOP, quienes en sus labores a bordo y en
tierra, deben reconocer y clasificar las especies de peces cartilaginosos,
entre otras especies marinas, de las cuales deben tener un acabado
