las oficinas de IFOP Valparaíso, se reunieron directivos e investigadores de
IfOP con la Ministra de Agricultura y Ganadería de Costa Rica, Sra. Gloria
Abraham. En ese país los asuntos pesqueros y de acuicultura son atendidos por
este Ministerio y el objetivo de esta visita fue conocer el sistema de
monitoreo de las pesquerías chilenas y su implementación.<br>

A la reunión técnica y protocolar asistieron el Director Ejecutivo (S) Sr. Mauricio Braun y los encargados de la Evaluación de
las Pesquerías y Gestión de Muestro, quienes dieron a conocer en detalle el
sistema de muestreo y monitoreo llevado a cabo por el Instituto a través de los
adelantos implementados en el último tiempo, especialmente con apoyos
tecnológicos de última generación en transmisión de datos <em><i><font face="Verdana"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">in situ.</span></font></i></em></span></font></p><p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;"><em><i><font face="Verdana"><span style="font-family: Verdana;"><br></span></font></i></em></span></font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;">Así
como también, se dio a conocer la responsabilidad que ha tomado el IFOP en el
tema, al estar encargados de organizar la próxima 7° versión del IFOMC
(Conferencia Internacional de Observadores y Monitoreo de las Pesquerías) a
efectuarse entre el 08 y 12 abril de 2013, en la ciudad de Viña del Mar. <br></span></font></p><p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;"><br></span></font></p>
