nave arribó al puerto de Valparaíso el pasado domingo a las 09:00 horas, completando
exitosamente la campaña correspondiente al crucero oceanográfico CIMAR 17
Fiordos en la zona sur-austral del país, el cual concluyó en Puerto Montt. El
programa de crucero se realizó sin contratiempos y se cumplieron las
transectas programadas, entre la zona del estero Reloncaví y la boca del
Guafo, ejecutando estudios de continuidad, que involucraron aspectos
de oceanografía y biodiversidad, y estudios de procesos, en tres áreas con
características oceanográficas contrastantes: Fiordo de Reloncaví, sector de
islas Desertores y boca del Guafo. <br></span></font></p><p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;"><br></span></font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;">El
personal científico que participó en este Crucero, se caracteriza por ser
multidisciplinario y joven, todos ligados a los Grupos de Trabajo del Comité
y que deben combinar muy bien los tiempos para lograr tomar todas las muestras requeridas para los numerosos proyectos
planteados en este Crucero 2011.</span></font></p><p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;"><br></span></font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;">Este
es el 2° crucero realizado con el B/C “Abate Molina” para el
Programa de Investigación Marina en Áreas Remotas (CIMAR), que administran el
SHOA y el CONA, ejecutando
anteriormente el CIMAR 16, en similar fecha del año 2010.</span></font></p><p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;"><br></span></font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana;">El
buque permanecerá hasta las 18:00 horas de hoy en el sitio N°7 del EPV en
