">Cabe mencionar que solo cuatro ministros han sido invitados por el gobierno de la India para participar en el llamado Segmento Ministerial de Alto Nivel. Los otros ministros que asistirán son de Reino Unido, Namibia y Noruega.</span><br><br><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif; ">En el Panel relacionado a la Biodiversidad Marino Costera que estará a cargo del Perú, participarán en calidad de facilitadores representantes de Francia, Filipinas, Seychelles, Venezuela, Brasil y Australia. </span><br><br><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif; ">Los otros temas que abordarán los ministros invitados serán la implementación del Plan Estratégico de Biodiversidad 2011-2020, la biodiversidad y la reducción de la pobreza, así como la implementación del Protocolo de Nagoya sobre acceso a los recursos genéticos y la distribución de beneficios. </span><br><br><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif; ">Adicionalmente, la COP 11 analizará cómo mejorar aspectos operativos del Convenio de Diversidad Biológica (CDB), el funcionamiento de sus principales instrumentos como el Protocolo de Nagoya, el Plan Estratégico al 2020, entre otros. </span><br><br><span style="font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif; ">Los paneles de discusión en el segmento de alto nivel tienen suman importancia porque se espera que las conclusiones marquen la ruta e indiquen un compromiso de los países para la implementación de las metas Aichi y el Plan Estratégico del Convenio de Diversidad Biológica.
