the live coral cover in Lakshadweep has been reported, causing serious concern

agriculture purposes, the state government has planned to provide such facility
for fishery clusters too, official sources said. The energy secretary, P K

SOUTHCO, asked them to submit their plan and estimate for the proposed feeder
line within a week and not after June 18, sources said. He said they have not

fearing the Sri Lankan navy, the fishers at Rameswaram backtracked on their
decision and decided to stick on to their regular schedule. Mechanised boats at
Rameswaram fishinh harbour will enter sea on a 24-hour schedule from early
morning to next day morning. It was decided to cut the trawling duration to 14
hours from last Saturday based on a resolution taken during the association

solar-biomass hybrid dryer which can dry fish in 20 hours under hygienic
condition. This is part of research project 'Securefish' which aims at

May last year. The Euro 39,65,592 project involves 13 institutions including

due to the monsoon, the boat aroused suspicion, ICG sources said.  Kutch
police had located the boat 'Rehman Baba' in Indian waters on Monday. An ICG

morning, and, according to a release from the National Fisheries Solidarity
Movement (NAFSO), the rough seas have destroyed more than 60 fishermen's lives
around the West, South/West and Southern coasts in Sri Lanka. According to
Herman Kumara, Convener, NAFSO, some of the media messages say there are 31
including 30 fisher people dead, 29 injured and 31 missing people, including 37
boats that disappeared...<br></span>
