Desde hace 20 años la vemos en las capturas de anchoveta, la distribución de ambas especies se sobrepone en el espacio geográfico, no hay forma de evitar que con redes de cerco caiga un poco de múnida con la anchoveta, y a veces case<br>muchísmo, y se le devuelve al mar para evitar la multa, pero lo que sucede es que no se difunde este hecho. No sirve hacer harina con múnida, tampoco aceite al menos a través de los procesos usuales, deja mucha ceniza, le cambia el color al aceite. Por medios<br>modernos y de pequeña escala se puede obtener aceite de altísima calidad. Y lo del ITP no fue un experimento, se obtuvieron muy buenos resultados.
