Sus conservas se encuentran en los principales mercados del Perú, y realizan esfuerzos por ingresar a nuevos mercados de ciudades como Ayacucho, Huacho, Huaral, Barranca, Supe y Huaura reforzando los atributos del pescado, entre ellos su importante aporte de proteína y Omega 3”, dijo Elena Conterno, presidenta de la SNP.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoPlainText style='text-align:justify'><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:0cm;margin-bottom:.0001pt;text-align:justify;line-height:normal;text-autospace:none'><span lang=ES style='font-size:12.0pt'>Como resultado de estudios de mercado, la industria pesquera está elaborando productos a base de jurel en diferentes salsas y aceites, en adición a los que ya ofrecían de anchoveta. Asimismo, ha logrado producir hamburguesas y nuggets congelados a partir de anchoveta, jurel, pota y perico. Han iniciado también rigurosas investigaciones para mejorar la calidad de los aceites de pescado para consumo humano.
