<html><body><div style="color:#000; background-color:#fff; font-family:HelveticaNeue, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, Lucida Grande, sans-serif;font-size:12pt"><div><span>Buenas noches señor García-Godos, lo que usted menciona ha sido propalado este fin de semana por El Comercio y dos programas dominicales de gran audiencia, la imágenes son bastante impactantes y lamentables, sin embargo creo que hay un gran error en el cálculo de la cifra de 15000 delfines muertos al año en aguas peruanas, pues los que hicieron el cálculo dicen que hay 500 embarcaciones espineleras y que TODAS matan delfines para emplearlos como carnada para la pesca de tiburon, he tenido la oportunidad de salir hace 9 años en estas embarcaciones que se dedicaban a la pesca de perico y tiburon y jamás vi que mataran a un delfin, lo que empleaban como carnada era caballa congelada o en todo caso pescaban pota para tal fin, por lo que creo que ese número de delfines
muertos no sería el correcto. En todo caso, delfines y ballenas se encuentran protegidos por ley en el Perú, y si la ONG que hizo la denuncia conoce el nombre de la embarcación que realizó semejante barbaridad lo que debería de hacer es denunciarlos para que vayan presos pero que no afirme de modo tan alegre que TODAS las embarcaciones espineleras del Perú matan a delfines en sus faenas, eso ya es una exageración.</span></div><div></div><div> </div><div>Ing.
