at Haripur the site of proposed nuclear power plant. 6,000 fisher people
gathered to express their rejection of the nuclear power plant and their
solidarity to the fishers' union. <br>

Shuvendu Adhikary MP, Dibyendu Adhikary MLA, Ranjit Mondal MLA and a host of
Panchayet Office Bearers were present. The fisher people raised demands for
land rights, fishing rights, complete trawl ban and right to social security.<br>

<b>Odisha: World Bank, ADB team visits Cyclone Phailin-hit areas in Odisha to
assess damage</b><br>

when they face severe cyclonic storm....<br>
