<p style="margin:0px; font-size:12px">18:01. Lima, nov. 27. La Sociedad Nacional de Pesquería (SNP) dotará de herramientas tecnológicas y de información especializada a la Facultad de Biología de la Universidad Nacional de Santa, de Chimbote (Ancash), según
el convenio firmando entre ambas instituciones.</p>

<p style="margin:0px; font-size:12px">Dicho convenio también comprende la formación y capacitación profesional de docentes e investigadores.</p>
<p style="margin:0px; font-size:12px"><br>

<p style="margin:0px; font-size:12px">La presidente de la SNP, Elena Conterno, destacó que en la actualidad, y en el contexto del cambio climático, el Perú afronta los retos de la sostenibilidad de sus pesquerías.</p>

</p>
<p style="margin:0px; font-size:12px">Entre los retos resaltan el férreo control en el desembarque de los recursos pesqueros, el apoyo a los pescadores en los planes de manejo y el protocolo claro de medición de la biomasa, entre otros aspectos.</p>

<p style="margin:0px; font-size:12px">“Este convenio nos permite continuar estableciendo puntos de contacto y de cooperación entre la industria, las universidades y sus investigadores", aseveró.</p>

<p style="margin:0px; font-size:12px">Indicó que las empresas pesqueras acceden durante sus operaciones a una enorme cantidad de información sobre los recursos del mar que puede ser analizada para dar inicio a proyectos sobre manejo sostenible o nutrición en
Chimbote y Áncash.</p>

<p style="margin:0px; font-size:12px">A su turno la rectora de la citada universidad, América Odar, afirmó que, por su ubicación y su historia, la Universidad del Santa tiene en el sector pesca a un aliado estratégico para continuar desarrollando investigaciones
sobre recursos hidrobiológicos para beneficio para la región.</p>
