<p>España.- Investigadores del Instituto Español de Oceanografía (IEO) han publicado recientemente dos trabajos en los que analizan la ingestión de <strong>microplásticos</strong> de especies de peces de las costas españolas del Atlántico y el Mediterráneo. Los científicos han analizado en el primer trabajo un total de 212 peces de fondo de alto interés comercial: 72 pintarrojas (<strong><em>Scyliorhinus canicula</em></strong>), 12 merluzas (<strong><em>Merluccius merluccius</em></strong>) y 128 salmonetes de fango (<strong><em>Mullus barbatus</em></strong>), y encontraron microplásticos en 37 de ellos, casi en uno de cada seis.</p>

<p>Valencia, España.- Investigadores del Instituto de Acuicultura Torre de la Sal del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) han realizado un estudio de secuenciación de genes del intestino de la lubina europea que ha revelado diferentes estrategias de alimentación y mecanismos de defensa inmunitaria adquiridos a lo largo de la evolución de los teleósteos. Los resultados de la investigación aparecen publicados en la revista Frontiers in Physiology.</p>
