<p>Madrid, España.- Un estudio mostró que la suplementación de la dieta con inulina y fructooligosacáridos (FOS) mejoran el rendimiento del crecimiento de trucha arco iris; además, ambos prebióticos producen algunos cambios en la composición química del cuerpo entero y del filete. Finalmente, la inulina disminuye drásticamente el número de <strong><em>Vibrio</em></strong> spp. en la parte distal del intestino de trucha.</p>

<p>Perú.- Con obras que integran la responsabilidad social y económica de pequeños productores de truchas en las zonas alto andinas, el Gobierno Regional de Apurímac, llega a los lugares más remotos de la región Apurímac para entregar módulos de jaulas para la producción de trucha arco iris en la laguna de Choyocca. Además de afianzar la producción son alimentos de fácil digestión y aportan múltiples beneficios para la salud de los niños. Son ricos en proteínas, vitaminas y minerales como el hierro, necesario para combatir la anemia y la desnutrición.</p>
