<p>España.- Investigadores del Centro Oceanográfico de Vigo del Instituto Español de Oceanografía (IEO) han presentado recientemente sus avances en el estudio de la domesticación y cultivo de la cherna (<strong><em>Polyprion americanus</em></strong>) durante la reunión anual del proyecto europeo lo financia: DIVERSIFY (Exploring the biological and socio-economic potential of new/emerging candidate fish species for the expansion of the European aquaculture industry), un proyecto de cinco años de duración que llega a su ecuador y que pretende desarrollar nuevos sistemas de cultivo y métodos de procesado y marketing para seis nuevas especies de acuicultura.</p>
