<p>Noruega.-  El lodo es un creciente problema en la acuicultura. Para poder convertirlo en un activo o gestionarlo mejor, necesitamos saber de que está hecho. Los lodos de los sistemas cerrados en la piscicultura se originan de los piensos. Los ideal sería que la mayor parte de los piensos sean consumidos.</p>

<p>Chile.- A fines de enero de 2017, ocurrió la mortalidad de miles de salmones en engorda y adultos que eran transportados en <strong>“wellboats”</strong> que navegaban en aguas del Golfo de Penas. Inicialmente hubo reportes de una probable floración de una microalga que genera toxinas nocivas para los peces, e identificando tentativamente al dinoflagelado <strong><em>Karenia mikimotoi</em></strong>. El evento movilizó al Servicio Nacional de Pesca y Acuicultura en la organización de un monitoreo en busca de antecedentes que confirmaran la presencia de esta microalga.</p>

<p>Madrid, España.- El Ministerio de Agricultura y Pesca, Alimentación y Medio Ambiente, a través de la Fundación Biodiversidad, ha publicado el informe <strong>“Situación de partida y perspectivas de la actividad acuícola en la Red Natura 2000 en España”</strong>, que ha permitido caracterizar las actividades de acuicultura que se llevan a cabo en esos espacios naturales. Un estudio que ha contado con la colaboración de la Secretaria General de Pesca, las Comunidades Autónomas, los agentes del sector acuícola y ambiental, y las unidades del Departamento implicadas en la gestión de la Red Natura 2000 y la actividad pesquera.</p>

<p>Andalucía, España.- La Consejería de Agricultura, Pesca y Desarrollo Rural ha destinado casi 11 millones de euros para las ayudas relativas al <strong>Desarrollo Sostenible de la Acuicultura Marina</strong> en Andalucía. Según el Boletín Oficial de la Junta de Andalucía (BOJA), el plazo para solicitar estas subvenciones, que se conceden en régimen de concurrencia competitiva, es de un mes a partir de mañana, 8 de marzo. Aquellos interesados pueden descargarse el formulario de solicitud que se adjunta en la orden publicada en el BOJA.</p>
