<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">El Ministerio de la Producción (Produce) dio por concluida la veda reproductiva del recurso jurel (Trachurus murphyi), autorizándose el reinicio de las actividades extractivas,
a partir de las 00:00 horas del día jueves 2 de noviembre del presente año. </span></p>

<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Mediante Resolución Ministerial Nº 000367-2023-Produce, publicada en el diario oficial El Peruano, también se incrementa el límite de captura del recurso en 84 724 toneladas
para el sector artesanal durante el periodo 2023. </span></p>

<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Es importante mencionar que la veda reproductiva de jurel fue establecida para proteger el desove de la especie durante el mes de octubre, momento en el cual de acuerdo al monitoreo
del Instituto del Mar del Perú (Imarpe) se encontraba en su pico reproductivo. Sin embargo, dicha institución continuó realizando el monitoreo y tras evidenciar que el proceso reproductivo había empezado a declinar recomendó concluir con la medida. </span></p>

<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">De acuerdo a la norma y basado en el informe del Imarpe, el Produce señaló que el nuevo límite de captura es aplicable a las actividades extractivas efectuadas a través de embarcaciones
pesqueras artesanales con redes de cerco y capacidad de bodega igual o mayor a 20 metros cúbicos hasta 32.6 metros cúbicos. </span></p>

de dicho sector. De esta forma, Produce busca asegurar la sostenibilidad de las especies y promover el desarrollo del sector. </span></p>

perjuicio de las acciones que correspondan ser efectuadas por las dependencias con competencia pesquera de los Gobiernos Regionales y la Dirección General de Capitanías y Guardacostas de la Marina de Guerra del Perú del Ministerio de Defensa, en el ámbito
