El objetivo difícilmente se logrará. Porque la captura de calamar gigante es realizada exclusivamente por barcos artesanales peruanos. Que según la ley actual, no pueden tener más de 15 metros de eslora, 32,6 M3 de capacidad de bodega y predominio de maniobra manual en la captura.
