The National Fishworkers' Forum (NFF) today called for a nuclear free world
to mark the World Fisheries day today. In a resolution, the NFF also
dedicated the day to the fishing people fighting against Kudankulam nuclear
power plant in Tamil Nadu. NFF secretary Pradip Chatterjee, and
Dakshinbanga Matsyajibi Forum's president Tejendralal Das and secretary
Debashish Shymal in a joint statement said the Indian coast line is all
likely to witness a wave of protest from the fishing community against the
proposed nuclear plants at different parts of the country...

organised as part of the Weeklong Celebration (November 16 to 21) in
connection with World Fisheries Day by PFF across Pakistan...

attended the event lightning oil lamp as distinguish guest on the
occasion...
