Uttar Pradesh: 2 fish species banned*

Two species of fishes, Thai Mangur and Bighead have been banned in Varanasi
district. According to Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Ajay
Kumar Awasthi, these two species of fishes are the reason for the spread of

fauna in the region. The ban has been imposed under a prohibatory order
